VOOPOO PR: ICCPP Launches GENE TREE, the Latest Generation of Ceramic Core

On September 16, GMT +8, ICCPP, the parent company of VOOPOO, held the 2021 nano-tech ceramic core global online conference and launched its first ceramic core technology brand, GENE TREE. The release of GENE TREE not only marks a new level of ICCPP’S R&D efforts in the atomization field, but also blows the first whirlwind of a new generation of ceramic core products in the industry.

New core-TECH, creating the future

With the theme of “the future of the core”, this conference emphasized the continuous development and innovation of electronic atomization technology, and demonstrated ICCPP’s determination to lead the future of the industry as well.

At present, ceramic core products on the market often lead to negative experiences including weak flavor restoration, light taste, powder sticking & dropping, burning coil, etc., which affected the users’ experience and also pose a threat to the users’ health. Therefore, ICCPP takes users’ experience into its core consideration and explores products that meet user habits and improve health needs. After tackling a series of key problems by its R&D team, ICCPP finally created a new generation of ceramic core products, “GENE TREE nano-tech ceramic core”.

Practice-driven, R&D-oriented
According to EVEREST, ICCPP’s CEO, technology research and development based on user experience and health & safety have long been the basic forces that drives ICCPP’s growth steadily and rapidly. After nearly 10 years of development, the company has now established a research and development team led by overseas experts which consists of more than 300 people. Among them, there are more than 40 members with doctoral or master’s degrees.

According to the presentation, the new generation of ceramic core products launched this time has taken more than 1,000 days on repeating technical explorations and scientific experiments, and tens of thousands of hours to choose from more than 2,000 sets of ceramic core material formulations. Finally, ICCPP succeeded in breaking through the technical bottleneck of the industry and overcame the key problem of ceramic coils’ powder sticking & dropping.

In addition, the R&D team has also overcome a series of production technical issues in the process of converting R&D results into mass production. Currently, ICCPP’s production plant has formed stable capacity to make ceramic cores. After plenty of tests, the mass-produced ceramic core has reached high level resistance and appearance size consistency. This means that the manufacturing ability for ICCPP’s first ceramic core GENE TREE, has occupied the leading position in the industry since its birth.

Powder-free, pure puff

During the conference, the speaker, Jay, proposed the “powder-free” concept of GENE TREE ceramic core. The R&D team of ICCPP has successfully achieved “non-stick and dropping powder” by using various methods such as new material formulas, and new preparation technology of “porous heating film”. Demonstrated by an electron microscope with 25 times magnification, GENE TREE has no powder adhesion compared with related competitors on the market, breaking the bottleneck of traditional ceramic core, and truly achieves a “powder-free” vape experience. In the production process, the high-strength ceramic formed by the high-temperature sintering process at nearly 1300°C also provides a guarantee for avoiding powder dropping.

According to the presentation, the blind test results of 3000+ vapers from around the world show that the taste of GENE TREE is also better than the performance of competitors. Ceramic core is like a filter. The larger the ceramic, the heavier the weight, and the adsorption of nicotine and flavor fragrances in e-liquid will be more obvious, which will affect the reduction efficiency of the core. Ceramic cores on the market generally have poor taste reduction. In order to ensure users’ satisfaction with nicotine, the industry’s usual practice is to increase the amount of nicotine in the e-liquid, but it also brought problems for disposable vaping products in many countries and regions where nicotine concentration in E-liquid has been strictly limited. The performance of GENE TREE in the degree of reduction is perfect. Even if only 20mg of nicotine salt is added to the e-liquid, with Gene Tree, the device can achieve the same effect as competitive products with 30mg nicotine salt added to the liquid. In terms of size, GENE TREE is polished more delicately, weighing about 0.07g, its volume is 50% smaller than present ceramic cores, which not only ensures the original flavor of e-liquid, but also brings GENE TREE for low-cost and high-efficiency characteristics.

All raw materials of GENE TREE ceramic core are made of new environmentally friendly mineral materials. On the one hand, rare earth elements migrate and diffuse into the three-dimensional network ceramic skeleton at high temperature, then, the grain boundary micro-structure is rebuilt, and the multi-phase co-existence structure improves the ceramic toughness. On the other hand, dispersion is distributed in the three-dimensional ceramic skeleton to form a lipophilic matrix layer, which can improve the lipophilicity and liquid storage of porous ceramic. The hierarchical pore structure of GENE TREE extends its power adaptation range. The results of the atomization tests show that the temperature of ceramic heating surface and the atomization are stable at 4 to 11 watts. Compared to commercially available mainstream products, GENE TREE can raise its safe operation power from 8 watts to 11 watts to fully meet the power requirements of different products. In the 6.5W atomization test experiment, the temperature of the GENE TREE heating film is stable and can be continuously atomized for 4000s without burning the core due to the perfect match between the heating film and the ceramic substrate. Also, its life expectancy is increased by 5 times compared with mainstream products.
