The VIBE SE 2 also has one significant advantage over the XROS 6: capacity. Its 4.5mL pod holds substantially more e-liquid than the standard 3mL XROS pod and more than twice the capacity of a 2mL regional XROS pod. That means fewer interruptions to refill the device.
A 1400mAh integrated battery is paired with USB-C charging at 1A. It cannot match the XROS 6's 1800mAh battery or 3A charging, but battery capacity remains substantial for a compact refillable pod. An RGB battery indicator replaces the XROS 6's scree. Perhaps too simple? Considering e-liquid and mode can be checked manually, all you miss is the specificity of the remaining charge. Why Does the VIBE SE 2 Exist?
The Vaporesso XROS 6 is objectively the more sophisticated piece of hardware. In the opinion of the author, it is also more attractive with the aluminum shell. It is also heavier, although who is sweating 53g versus 73g? It is not even an ounce. It does not feel cheap, using a textured faux-leather finish to provide a grippy surface to clasp onto.
But the Vaporesso XROS 6, even the previously simplified XROS Mini series, have come a long ways. And the shape of the Vaporesso XROS constrains pod size. This makes it available in global markets but also harms its ability to compete with disposabe vapes that routinely hold ten-fold more e-liquid in 2026. While not quite a match for the disposable chasing VOOPOO VRIZZ 2 which simply looks like a refillable disposable vape and holds 15ml, it is more than double.
Initiate adult vapers may not need a screen, firing button, multiple UI themes or a wide range of pod resistances. They just want something that works and works well.
With sophisticated coils, great flavor, great vapor production, a tighter draw, larger capacity, and nearly as much power on tap the Vibe SE 2 does not surrender much if anything in terms of real world performance.
For someone looking for a starter kit, removing the bells and whistles can be an upgrade. There is nothing intimidating about the interface of this capable refillable pod system vape.

What makes the VIBE SE 2 particularly compelling is that the simpler hardware does not mean going back to an antiquated vape. It has 28-watts of power. The resistance and ramp up speeds of the the dual mesh VIBE pods deliver just as robust performance as an XROS, simply with more limited airflow options.
Our Verdict: Vaporesso XROS 6 vs VIBE SE 2
The XROS 6 wins on hardware. It has the larger battery, much faster charging, a TFT screen, dual activation, more precise airflow control and access to one of the broadest established refillable pod ecosystems. For experienced pod users, or anyone who wants a device that can adapt to different vaping styles, the XROS 6 is difficult to beat. This is why it has been a best-selling vape pod kit for years.
The VIBE SE 2 still makes a strong case. Its 4.5mL pod requires fewer refills, and its coils are of a modern design and comparable to if not quite the equal to an XROS 6. And the margins are close. Some prefer the flavor generation of the disposable vape style coil in the Vibe SE 2.
Which Vaporesso Pod Kit Should You Choose?
If you already use refillable vapes, the Vaporesso XROS 6 is the easy recommendation. Six generations of refinement, excellent XROS pod compatibility, an 1800mAh battery and a genuinely useful collection of controls make it one of the most complete pod systems in its class.
