HOW LONG WILL MY COILS LAST BEFORE REPLACEMENT IS NEEDED?

Though it varies from vaper to vaper, the frequency with which individuals change out their coils depends on a number of aspects that are not quite so varied. Let’s take a look at exactly what determines whether or not your Vape Coils should be changed, and what affects the need for change.

HOW LONG IS VAPE COIL LIFE EXPECTANCY?
This depends on the vaper, but if the wick has burned or the coil has worn out, the wire coil needs to be replaced. Personal vaporizer coils, according to some experienced vapers, can last as long as 4 weeks. But if you are a frequent vaper, they may only last 1 week. Generally speaking, 2 weeks is a decent life expectancy, but the taste of your vape should constantly be monitored for signs and symptoms of a spent coil.

HOW TO TELL IF COILS NEED REPLACING
You want to change your vaping coils on a regular basis to avoid a burned, dry taste. This will allow you the best flavor. Once you get the hang of vaping, it will be easier for you to make a determination as to how long you can expect coils to last. The signs of a burned coil are hard to miss:

·If you are experiencing hot and dry vapor
·If you are losing the flavor of your e-juice
·You notice a gurgling sound from within the tank

In this case, e-juice is probably getting to the battery connection through coil seeping. When you replace your coils, in this situation, make absolutely sure to also clean the tank cap and battery cap.

WHAT AFFECTS THE LIFE OF MY COILS?
As just suggested, how frequently you vape has a lot to do with how long your coils will last. If you vape a VG/PG mix, your coils will likely last longer than if you vape a 100% VG e-fluid. The coil will also wear out faster if you increase the power with a variable voltage mod.

REPLACING YOUR COIL
It takes a minute to replace your coil, and it’s easy!

·Separate the battery from the tank and take off the tank cap
·Carefully set aside the tank
·This is the perfect opportunity for tank cleaning and refilling
·The remaining e-juice may have been tainted by the burnt coil
·Dispose of the old coil after unscrewing it from the tank
·Wipe down (clean) the tank
·Make sure that the tank is completely dry before reassembly
·Screw the new coil in, and reassemble the tank
·In an upright position, let the tank rest for a few minutes. This allows e-fluid to soak up into the wick.

The longer you allow the wick to steep, the longer your coil should last. Puffing away before the wick has been saturated burns and dries out your coil. A prepared vaper will have replacement coils on hand. Fortunately, it’s easy and quick to shop for and by them online. Enjoy your vape!
